Photo of Fred Harper sent to us as 19 Oct 2009 - Read on: e mail from Barry Harper: Hi I’m going to send you an attachment of Fred Harper, he said that all is photo`s were in an house fire in Southport - so he as none left at all, but like I told you was with 39 Regt for 19 years - this photo I have taken to day (18-Oct-2009) and to think 19 years in the army worked all is life when he came out and not to be able to get any help it is a disgrace to this country as you can see from photo he is yellow and the time left for him is not long, when you think that the lot come in to this country and live much better than Fred will do well I say good old England will he be remembered - no but I’ll see to him, the best I can it is too late now do not think I or any one ells could get him of the wine bottle - all for now hope you can do that DVD for him.
